We just need to focus as a club and as a squad of players in training this week. Too often in recent seasons we have started with a run of poor results. If our attitude and desire to be successful are right then we will do well. We all need to pull together and do what is best for the team, I expect all the senior players to set examples of leadership and behaviour on and off the pitch to assist the development of younger players in the team. If we work hard then I am sure we can make our own good luck to succeed on the pitch. |

All right guys hope the pre-season is going well, keep it up Robbo. Was just on the SRU website and saw that Magnus Bradbury has been selected for the Scottish regional academy, don't know if this is a recent thing or not. Well done to him, hopefully Dee can keep him away for the drink and the women that has dragged so many good men down. Not speaking from person experience obviously !! Robin surely thats a good sign, if you weren't sore after pre-season i would be worried! Still need to get consistant numbers and a few guys still to show at all! Lets get there it will pay off when the games start in a few weeks! |

The new season West Division 1 fixtures have now been published, we start with a home match against Loch Lomond on 11 September. There is a Bowl fixture scheduled for 04 September, this draw has not yet been published. |

Glad to see that the guest book is finally being used again. Was hoping to catch up with some of the guys at the mull 7s. Unfortunatly my latest team KINLOSS RUFC are having to travel to Orkney for the Brin Cup final and as such won't make it to Mull. As one of the original Gorey Tourist I would be interested in going back there as I'm sure club captian Gary McEwan would after all he did celebrate his 17th Birthday there by missing the bus home. |
